Particularly, individuals with low or moderate incomes often face challenges in the housing market. As a solution to provide affordable housing for young people, AM has developed the Friends concept. In this arrangement, multiple individuals, usually two or three, live together as "Friends" in one apartment. Each has their own bedroom, and the residents share a living room and kitchen. While the Friends concept was initially designed for young adults, it has proven to be very suitable for senior housing in practice.

Co-living concepts
The age group of 25 to 34-year-olds is the fastest-growing demographic in our cities. One of the key challenges in the housing market is providing homes that are feasible and affordable for young people. This can be achieved through innovative forms of co-living. For this purpose, AM has developed concepts such as Friends and Urban Millennials.

Urban Millenials
The age group of 25 to 34-year-olds is the fastest-growing demographic in our cities. In fact, by 2030, they are projected to be the largest group of residents in the four largest Dutch cities. It is therefore crucial to have the right housing options available for these urban millennials. This includes affordable homes for purchase as well as moderately priced rental properties. AM is developing smaller, more affordable apartments specifically tailored to meet the needs of these young adults.
