Helix is an unmistakable eyecatcher as part of the impressive central area of Leidsche Rijn. AM has developed this multi-tenant office building of approximately 10,000 square meters for several companies looking for an excellently accessible location combined with a unique architectural appearance. The design responsibility lies with Paul de Ruiter Architects, a firm known for projects such as the sustainable headquarters of TNT in Hoofddorp.
Healthy working in an urban environment Helix, Utrecht

Yellow staircase
Characteristic of the building are the raised plinth, the central atrium, and a separate patio serving as a sheltered outdoor space. The spiral staircase in the atrium - visible from the highway - is the heart of the building and constitutes the DNA of the design: movement and thus healthy working are encouraged. Additionally, the staircase fosters a sense of connection among the employees of the various companies working here. The building consists of four office floors and two parking levels (below the building) with space for approximately 150 parking spaces.
